Location

Giant Cedars board walk Trail is located 20 minutes East of Revelstoke right off the Trans-Canada Hwy.

There are signs both sides of the highway. During the winter there is no official parking available as the park is closed in the winter so you have to chance it parking on the shoulder of the road.

This Loop is a great way to stretch you legs as it is only .5km Loop or 1 km from the Highway and back.

The Hike

The Hike may not seem impressive being under a km long. Especially when you look from the highway you cannot see the massive Cedars hidden away. But the walk takes you through Canada's only Interior rainforest amongst 500 year old plus Cedar stands.

The trail is on a boardwalk that almost anyone can get to enjoy. Benches are in place along the boardwalk so you can take in the towering trees and unique forest composition of the interior rainforest. This would make a great place to stop and have lunch if you are travelling to Revelstoke or beyond. If you do visit it in the winter is incredible.
