Directions
The Eagle Canyon suspension bridge hike is located in between Nipigon and Thunder Bay in the municipality of Dorion.
This hike is located at "275 Valley Rd, Dorion, ON P0T 1K0" at Eagle Canyon Adventures.
To get here off of hwy 11 you will see signs directing you to the turnoff which will take you down a dirt road. On this road you will follow the poster signs for Eagle Canyon Adventures which will bring you to the parking lot.
Be sure to check hours of operation before hand. Generally the park is opened May through October.
What To Expect
Upon arrival there are fees to enter the park (22$ per person) which they use for maintenance of the suspension bridges, the longest suspension foot bridge in Canada which is 600 ft long and sits 152 feet high off the canyon floor.
It also hosts Canada's longest, fastest and highest zip line it sits half a mile long, 175 feet high and reaching speeds in excess of 70 km / hr.
The trail is well marked, easy to follow. It has minimal elevation gain, crosses 2 suspension bridges with panoramic views and has an incredible views of the canyon below!
Its not a long or challenging "hike" (if you would call it that but the views are incredible!
