Directions
Getting to the Casaroro waterfalls is easy and straight forward. It is located right off to the Limottakna cafe. If you follow Taft st right to the end the cafe will be right there on the left.
This is 30 minutes away from the city of Duemaguete . You will need to either rent a car or scooter / motorcycle to get here. (For a scooter it will cost 500-850 php / day)
What to Expect
The hike is straight forward and very easy to follow. It is 3km's out and back that bring you to the Casaroro Falls.
It starts with a 335 stair walk down. (remember you will have to climb back up!) Once you reach the bottom you will take a right and follow the trail along the river down to the falls. The decent to the 100 foot tall water fall, these falls can be easily be reached in under 30minutes.
Depending on the time of year you are going/water levels the path might be tough to follow or bridges may be unusable so be cautious and aware that the river does flood and at times the trail may not be well maintained.
At the falls you can cool down and swim and on your trip up the food at the cafe is reasonably priced and delicious!
